And so, I’ve finally escaped
And yet, I don’t know how I feel about it. I’ve spent so much time obsessing over the fact that I wanted to get out, that I never stopped to realize how much I loved what was around me. So maybe I’m being extreme, I’m only gone for 3 months, but maybe what I once thought was so lame, is actually what I enjoy the most. Maybe what I used to think I hated, is actually what I love and miss the most. Maybe, its just that as humans we need something to obsess over. Either way, in the past two weeks I have come to the realization that maybe this place isn’t as bad as I make it out to be. Or maybe once you get out you forget about the bad and miss the good. No matter what though, I’d kill for a Glenda hug right now.
For future reference though: I’m loving this more than I can explain, just home sick. Can’t have your cake and eat it too though, huh?
